De kommande 12 månaderna kommer att vara en spännande tid för oss som utvecklar med Microsoft’s teknologier. Det kommer att lanserats ett antal nya produkter och tjänster, tillsammans med nya versioner av befintliga produkter.
· Lansering av Windows Azure
· Lanseringen av Visual Studio 2010 och .NET 4.0
· Lanseringen av Windows 7 och Windows Server 2008 R2
· Ökad betydelse av Parallell Programmering och multitrådat programming och exekvering
· Nya versioner av WCF, WF och ”Dublin”
· Andra saker såsom Office 2010
Alla dessa teknologier kommer att skapa många utmaningar för oss, inte minst vilka teknologier som vi skall fokusera oss på och varför. Detta kan vara svåra beslut att fatta. Men ser man det ifrån ett annat håll så ger varje teknologi nya spännande möjligheter för oss utvecklare. Och det är ju aldrig fel med nya möjligheter.
Denna träff kommer ha formatet som en ”Open Space”, vilket innebär att det inte finns någon fast agenda. Det är de som deltar som bestämmer vad som skall diskuteras. Detta gör vi i början på dagen, samtidigt som vi äter frukost. Kom gärna med egna ämnen som du vill diskutera. (Man behöver inte presentera eller vara expert på det som man vill diskutera. Det räcker att vara intressead av ämnet.)

The next 12 months will be an exciting time for developers using Microsoft technologies. We will see quite a few new products and services come onto the market, along with new versions of existing products.
· Launch of Windows Azure

· Increased importance in parallel and threaded programming
· New development in WCF, WF and codename “Dublin” technologies
· (Others, Office? MOSS?)
These releases will create many challenges for developers, not least of which is deciding which technologies we should focus on. This can be a difficult choice, it sometimes seems like there is too much new stuff to learn.Looking at it from another angle, each technology will provide great opportunities for developers, and there can neverbe such a thing as too much opportunity…
As this event will take an “Open Space” format, the session will begin with no fixed agenda. The sessions will be decided on over breakfast and during the course of the day. Feel free to bring some ideas for what you want to talk about and plan to get involved in discussions relating to your personal interests.
